SOLAR ENERGY PANELS

Inspection of solar energy panels and plants

Solar energy, one of today's indispensable renewable energy sources, has started to be used more and more due to increasing electricity generation costs. Building roofs and vacant lots have turned into power plants generating electricity with these panels. It ensures sustainability in both commercial and private use. It is critical that these panels produce uninterrupted and efficient energy, both in terms of costs and avoiding energy shortages.

The facility operates completely outdoors and under geographical natural conditions. Panels installed with large investments are polluted or physically damaged by weather events (rain, snow, wind, hail), dust, plants, etc. This reduces the production capacity of the plant. Most of the damage affecting the panels is invisible to the eye. Installing the facility on high places such as roofs, platforms, etc. prevents it from being visible. In addition, the energy generation performance of the cells can only be understood by temperature and light measurement curves.

Our company's aerial vehicles perform solar energy panel / power plant inspection operations effectively from the air. Our state-of-the-art unmanned aerial vehicles, which are mostly designed for inspection missions, can successfully carry out inspections.

Under these physical conditions, aerial thermal camera control of the panel provides many advantages.

based on numerical data

The operation is carried out with fully autonomous flight with our aerial vehicles with high flight standards and thermal cameras. The RTK module enables point-accurate coordinate and cell determination. Both thermal and high-resolution RGB images are acquired in flight sequence. Thermal anomalies allow images of defects on the panel to be compared. Point panel-cell fault detections are made with thermal analysis data.

The duration of the operation varies with the size of the scanning area. The whole operation takes place in 3 stages.
